The Pet Protect Project has been in business as a non-profit for fifteen years. Animals accepted for surrender are, chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, and turtles. When you surrender, you are welcomed to come back and visit the animal. It can be hard to give up an animal that was once your family, and can be even harder on children. Once the child knows that the animal is safe happy and will never be given away or sold, they seem to relax and feel they did the right thing. Donations and sales from the Three Peas Fruit and Vegetable stand goes to feed, house, bedding, medications, vet visits. Organically grown fruits and vegetables for the animals, and feeds are often organic when available. They have open habitats and love.
