The Humane Society of Madison County (HSMC) is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded on July 3, 1989 by a group of Madison County residents who felt there was a great need for a Humane Society in Madison County. HSMC is supported by the Madison County Commissioners, Madison County Sheriff’s office, donations, grants, fundraising, and adoptions.
