Copperhead Horse Rescue’s mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses that have been neglected, abused, abandoned, or bound for slaughter. We concentrate on and emphasize training of these horses so they can be rehomed and have a second chance at a meaningful life. We focus on taking rescues that may have been sold or neglected due to being a "problem" horse or never having been handled or touched by a human. Before ready for adoption we train them so they may learn to be a good partner and find a forever home, thus hopefully preventing further neglect and/or abuse.
