Chester's Barn is an animal sanctuary for abused, neglected, unwanted animals with a focus on sharing the importance of animal care and the impact that animals can have on human mental health. Chester's Barn is committed to protecting animals from neglect, cruelty, and slaughter through rescuing, rehabbing, and retiring them on the farm or finding forever homes. We will accept animals, when space allows, who are surrendered by private owners, through county animal control facilities, and by purchasing from kill-pens at livestock auctions. We cannot take everyone but the ones we take in become family and we do everything we are capable of to give them the best possible life.
