We are a Private Non- Profit small No-Kill sanctuary nestled in the Rio Grande Corridor in South Central New Mexico. Operated by volunteers. We do not receive government assistance and operate through fundraisers, as well as private and corporate contributions. Our Mission - Prevention of Animal Cruelty, Relief of Suffering Among Animals, Extension of Humane Education. We help curb dog and cat over population through our Spay & Neuter, and Spay a Stray programs. Desert Haven provides Sanctuary for neglected, abandoned, unwanted companion animals in Sierra County. Hours: Tuesdays 9:00-4:00 And by appointment any other day of the week
