Peaceful Pastures Donkey Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to taking in abused, neglected and malnourished donkeys. We provide medical, nutritional, and emotional support to regain their overall health. Once their conditions improve, we offer them to carefully vetted adopters or identify them as sanctuary animals. We currently maintain over 200 donkeys and a few horses on site. Our rescue is staffed by volunteers, so all donations are used to care for the animals. We raise funds by hosting 2 events, one in May and the other in October. We also offer guided tours and Birthday Parties as a method of fundraising, education about the rescue and ample meet-and-greet opportunities with donkeys.
