Lapeer County Animal Control exists to enforce the Animal Control Ordinances of Lapeer County. We do house stray animals, sell dog licenses and have pets available for adoption. 1.If you have found or lost a pet please call our office or send us a facebook message. 2. Please keep in mind that while we are not open to the public on Wednesday, we do have officers working over the road. 3. It is Michigan State Law that ALL dogs must be licensed. Licenses can be purchased at our office, online, or by mail. We need to see proof of a valid rabies certificate and spay/neuter if applicable. 4. To adopt from us, you must fill out an adoption application prior to meeting with any animals.
